Simpeks Design took on the project of transforming a 37 square meter one-room apartment in Kyiv’s historic Shevchenkivskyi complex into an elegant art deco-inspired smart home.
Drawing inspiration from the glamour of 1920s art deco, the concept focused on sophisticated materials and geometric forms to maximize the small space.
A key part of the design was skillfully separating the bedroom area from the main living space using a large walk-in closet. This provided ample storage while maintaining an open flow.
Through clever space planning and art deco influences, Simpeks Design transformed the small apartment into a sophisticated smart home. The separate bedroom area provided comfort while maintaining an open concept. The client was delighted with the elegant yet practical result design of a one-room apartment of 37 sq. m..
