Two-room apartment with a 130 sq. m. terrace, Irpin, RC Yutlandia

Design of a two-room apartment of 130 m² in the residential complex “Jutlandia” in Kyiv

A bright interior with golden accents, a large terrace and thoughtful solutions for family life are the basis of this SIMPEKS DESIGN project. The design of a two-room apartment with an area of 130 m² in the Jutlandia residential complex was created for a young couple with a daughter.

Art Deco style is revealed through geometry, decorative textures, glass and the delicate shine of metal details. Milky and beige shades unite the rooms, creating a calm background for expressive furniture, lighting and decor. A dressing room, two bathrooms and a spacious terrace complement the interior with functions important for the daily comfort of the family.

Apartment interior in Art Deco style

In this project, Art Deco has been given a restrained modern interpretation. Light surfaces are combined with vertical reliefs, thin golden lines, stone patterns and soft furniture shapes.

Lighting plays a special role. Hidden lighting emphasizes the architecture of the space, light inside the furniture adds depth, and decorative lamps become independent accents. Repetition of colors and details helps maintain the integrity of the apartment’s design.

Kitchen-living room with fireplace and dining area

The shared kitchen-living room space is designed for family recreation, communication and receiving guests. A round dining table with soft chairs forms a cozy place for daily breakfasts and dinners.

The TV area is complemented by a wide built-in fireplace. Vertical decorative elements and golden inserts emphasize the composition of the wall, while light furniture and light tulle maintain the feeling of space.

The kitchen design supports the overall concept: frame facades, decorative fittings and relief elements are combined with a practical work surface. The lighting under the upper cabinets provides additional light for cooking. The area by the window complements the kitchen with a place for a short break over coffee.

A large terrace is a place for family relaxation

One of the main features of the apartment in the Jutlandia residential complex is a spacious terrace. It extends the living space and creates a separate area for outdoor leisure.

Wicker sofas and armchairs with soft cushions, a wooden table and decorative plants form a cozy lounge area. Here you can spend time with your family, read or meet with friends.

The dark geometry of the fence and cover is combined with the textured brick wall and wood-patterned flooring. The terrace design has a more natural character, while maintaining the attention to textures and details inherent in the apartment’s interior.

Children’s room for a girl

The space for the daughter is decorated in delicate cream and powdery shades. A soft bed, a light wardrobe and a desk create a basis for relaxation, study and creativity.

Arched motifs on the furniture facades add fluidity and echo the decorative geometry of the project. Golden handles and a distinctive pendant lamp support the Art Deco style, while illustrations and a cloud-shaped lamp give the room a childlike character.

Drawers, closed cabinets, and open shelves allow you to organize books, school supplies, and personal items. The calm palette leaves room to change the decor according to the child’s age and interests.

Wardrobe with glass facades

The walk-in closet combines spaciousness and expressive design. Glass facades in dark frames create a clear geometry, and warm interior lighting accentuates the shelves and sections for clothes.

There are places for hanging things, folded clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. Drawers help organize small items. Thanks to a well-thought-out storage system, the dressing room becomes a convenient part of everyday life.

Two bathrooms: bathtub and shower area

Two bathrooms provide the family with more convenience during morning gatherings and receiving guests. Both rooms are decorated in a light palette with stone patterns and soft lighting.

One bathroom has a bathtub with a shower and a transparent glass partition. The warm shade of the cladding and hidden lighting create a calm atmosphere.

The second bathroom has a shower area, a hanging cabinet with a washbasin and a mirror with vertical lighting. Closed furniture modules provide storage for care products, while maintaining a concise look of the room.
